Terms
Terms of Service.
The friendly version
These terms make one promise and set three expectations. The promise: we only ever work on your behalf with your music, we take no ownership, you can leave anytime. Expectations: you're over 18 or over 13 with guardian consent - confirm, you submit your own work, and a brief is an invitation to submit, not a promise of placement.

Terms of Service for Synchouse legal entity name - Cosmic Ltd? confirm, "we", "the platform".
1. The service
Synchouse is a subscription service that matches independent music with synchronisation briefs, provides catalogue management, readiness scoring, discovery outreach, an AI assistant (Muse), and a members' community. We act as an introduction and workflow tool; we are not your publisher, label, or agent.
2. Your music
You represent that you own or control the rights to everything you upload and submit. You keep all rights. By using the platform you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your content only as needed to run the service and present it to supervisors for the briefs you submit to. Nothing is licensed, sold, or forwarded to third parties without your submission.
3. Subscription and payment
Paid monthly via Stripe. Membership starts with a 3-day free trial; unless cancelled before it ends, pay-as-you-go billing begins on day 4. We email a reminder 24 hours before trial end. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; no refunds for partial months, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
4. Trials and fair use
One trial per person. Do not abuse free trials, scrape the platform, resubmit content you don't own, or submit spam or low-effort material at volume. We can suspend or remove accounts that break this, and supervisors see the same.
5. No placement guarantee
Briefs, feedback, matches and outreach are provided as-is. A submission is visible to real supervisors, but nothing on the platform guarantees a shortlist, licence, placement, or income.
6. AI features
Muse and readiness scoring give suggestions and generated copy. You remain responsible for what you send. We are not liable for losses from acting on suggestions.
7. Breach and termination
You may close your account anytime from settings. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Sections on IP, liability and privacy survive termination.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is capped at twelve months of your subscription fees. We are not liable for lost earnings, lost placements, or indirect losses.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes in English courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights where you live.
10. Changes
We can update these terms with 14 days' notice via email. Continuing to use the platform after the notice window means accepting the updated terms.
